This quote loomed in my head when I thought of my dad's siblings - my two aunts and three uncles who never married, nor had children. When my generation in the family dies, their memories will die with us. To commemorate their lives and the impact they had on me, I included their stories in a book about my grandparents. I was able to give a book to several cousins, my children, and others who now have their own collection of priceless photographs and stories of our relatives that will live on for generations.
